AsMade Apply for the MVP Pilot

Project information

About AsMade

AsMade helps people understand how one specific AI-assisted work was made.

One work. One record of how it was made.

A finished work shows the result. It does not always show what the person did, where AI was used, which decisions shaped the work, or what information about the process is available.

AsMade creates a MADE Record for one specific work. It brings together what the person did, how AI was used, the decisions that shaped the work, available process information, and what remains unknown.

A MADE Record can help show:

  • which specific work and version the Record describes;
  • who was involved and the roles they had;
  • what the person did and where AI was used;
  • which actions and decisions shaped the result;
  • which drafts, files, versions, AI chats, notes, or other materials are available;
  • what remains missing, uncertain, conflicting, or unresolved.

A MADE Record can distinguish creator-provided information, information linked to materials, findings from analysis, and unresolved questions. It does not reduce those differences to a simple “verified” label.

The Record is connected to the work rather than created for only one named recipient. A teacher, client, editor, publisher, reviewer, or other recipient may use it as one source of information for their own decision.

What AsMade is not

AsMade is not:

  • an AI detector;
  • a cheating or plagiarism detector;
  • proof that a work is fully human-made;
  • legal certification;
  • proof of authorship, ownership, or copyright;
  • an automatic percentage of human or AI contribution;
  • a replacement for a teacher, client, editor, court, platform, or other human decision-maker.

A MADE Record should make its sources, support, limitations, and unresolved questions visible. It should not pretend that incomplete evidence is complete.

Current stage

AsMade is recruiting for an early MVP pilot. The full service is not generally available.

The public site currently includes two authorised example MADE Records. They demonstrate the current presentation format; they are not a general public registry, participant archive, or proof that the full service is generally available.

The current application asks only for basic information about a possible use case. No work files are uploaded through the application form. If a case fits the pilot, AsMade may later invite the applicant to discuss a real, non-confidential project under a separate participant notice and approved handling process.

Completing an application does not guarantee selection, availability, timing, or a completed MADE Record.

Current application rule: do not submit work files, private project links, confidential materials, sensitive personal information, or unnecessary information about another person.
