By using the site or submitting a pilot application, you agree to use them lawfully and consistently with these Terms. If you do not agree, do not submit the application.
1. Current service status
AsMade is an early-stage project. The full MADE Record service is not generally available.
The current site provides information, publishes a small set of authorised example MADE Records, and accepts expressions of interest through an external Tally form. It does not currently provide:
- user accounts;
- project-file uploads;
- payments or subscriptions;
- an automated MADE Record generator;
- a general participant record archive or public submission workflow;
- legal, academic, or professional certification.
The current public MADE Records are examples of the product format. They are not a general participant registry, do not imply that every applicant will receive a MADE Record, and do not mean submitted work will be published.
2. Pilot applications
A pilot application is an expression of interest only. Submitting it does not create a service contract and does not guarantee:
- selection;
- a reply;
- a particular start date;
- a completed MADE Record;
- publication or sharing of any result;
- any legal, academic, employment, platform, or institutional outcome.
AsMade may accept, reject, pause, or discontinue a possible case where it does not fit the current scope, capacity, safety, or handling requirements.
3. Application eligibility and information
The current planned pilot is limited to applicants aged 18 or older and to real, non-confidential projects that the applicant is authorised to discuss.
When submitting the application, you agree not to include:
- work files or source materials;
- passwords, access credentials, or private links;
- confidential client, employer, school, or collaborator information;
- legal, medical, financial, biometric, or other sensitive personal information;
- unnecessary personal information about another person;
- content you are not authorised to share.
You should provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and correct material errors if AsMade contacts you.
4. Information you submit
You retain any rights you hold in information submitted through the application or email.
You permit AsMade to use that information only as reasonably necessary to:
- assess and administer the pilot application;
- contact you where you selected Yes or Maybe and provided an email address;
- answer your message;
- protect the systems and comply with applicable law.
Personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy.
A separate participant notice and agreement will be required before AsMade receives or analyses project files or creates a pilot MADE Record from participant materials.
5. Acceptable use
Do not:
- break the law or encourage unlawful activity;
- interfere with the site, form, hosting, Evidence delivery, or email systems;
- submit malware, automated spam, or abusive traffic;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority;
- attempt to access information or systems not made available to you;
- use the site to submit another person's confidential or sensitive information without authority.
AsMade may restrict or refuse interaction needed to protect the project, providers, team, or other people.
6. MADE Record limits
A MADE Record is intended as an evidence-linked account of one AI-assisted work. It may contain creator declarations, source-tool records, submitted-material support, AsMade observations or inferences, limitations, and unresolved questions.
Neither the site nor a MADE Record is:
- an AI detector;
- a determination of cheating or plagiarism;
- legal certification;
- proof of authorship, copyright, or ownership;
- proof that all evidence was supplied;
- proof that a work is fully human-made;
- an automatic contribution percentage;
- a final decision for a teacher, client, editor, employer, platform, court, or public authority.
AsMade does not provide legal advice. Obtain qualified advice for legal, contractual, academic, employment, rights, or regulatory decisions.
7. Site content and intellectual property
The AsMade name, wordmark, site design, text, graphics, and project materials are owned by the operator or used with permission, unless stated otherwise.
You may view and share ordinary links to the public site. You may not copy, republish, sell, misrepresent, or use substantial site content or branding in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership, certification, or official status without permission.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of a participant's work to AsMade.
8. Third-party services and links
The site links to or uses third-party services, including Tally for the pilot application and Backblaze B2 for delivery of authorised public or redacted Evidence files. Those services have their own terms, privacy notices, and technical availability.
AsMade is not responsible for third-party content or service changes beyond what applicable law requires.
9. Availability and changes
The site, public example Records, Evidence links, pilot form, and project may be changed, paused, or discontinued. Information may become outdated while the early MVP develops.
AsMade will try to keep material public statements accurate but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every page or third-party Evidence asset is error-free.
10. Responsibility and mandatory rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, AsMade is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from reliance on early-stage public information, a decision not to select an application, or use of a third-party link.
Nothing in these Terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory rights that apply to you.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without excluding mandatory protections that may apply under another law.
Any dispute should first be raised through the Contact page or hello@useasmade.com so the parties can try to resolve it directly.
12. Changes to these Terms
The effective date and last-updated date are shown at the top. Material changes apply from the updated publication date unless applicable law requires otherwise.
